A prayerful and engaging reflection on the lives and witness of Canadian saints, blesseds and venerables.

Canada's history has been shaped, formed and marked by the lives and witness of women and men who sought to live and proclaim the Gospel in all that they did. From the Canadian Martyrs and Kateri Tekakwitha to André Bessette and Vasyl Velychkovsky, women and men opened themselves to be clothed and transformed by God's Word.

Compiled in this one-of-a-kind collection are the stories of the holy men and women listed in the Church's book of saints, blesseds and venerables. Yet more than a biographical account of outstanding witnesses of faith, this treasury of Canadian saints invites us to reflect on their lives and consider how we may be transformed by God's calling. Through exercises of meditation, reflection and prayer, we are led to a discovery of our own role in God's divine plan.

Whether alone or in small groups, women and men of all ages will find these stories to be a source of inspiration and invitation to live the Gospel more fully in our lives and work today.
